• promoting good citizenship,
• supporting education, and
• promoting and participating in Civic activities.

Involvement of local citizens in developing/improving services designed to control, treat, eliminate, and prevent delinquency, abuse and neglect.
Identification of social, psychological and environmental factors producing antisocial behavior.
Creation of programs to assist individuals in developing skills which will decrease the likelihood of delinquent, abuse and neglect behavior occurring.
Teen Clean Closet partners with local businesses and community members to provide a safety net for children in the area by providing new toiletry and hygiene items.
Royal Oak, MI – Teen Clean Closet is a nonprofit community resource, which takes donations of new toiletry and hygiene items and distributes them to children in our community who are in need.
Teen Clean Closet was inspired when Erica McEvoy saw the need in her community and put out the call for support. Kim Johnson answered that call and soon a partnership was created.
Together, with the help of family and friends, using social media, they have been able to grow their vision. Teen Clean Closet has established mini closets in our local middle school, high school, community high school, Metro Detroit Youth Club – Royal Oak, our local YMCA (Royal Oak) and three elementary schools. Additionally, they are an on-call resource for Open Hands Food Pantry, as well as a contributor to Blessing in a Backpack- Royal Oak.
