Thank you for signing up to participate in our community celebration, ROam Home! We are excited to launch this event & help you succeed in whatever ways we can. Now that you are all signed up, let’s talk about what comes next.

  • Head to Facebook & like our ROam Home Royal Oak page
  • Share to your organization’s social media information about the event kick-off, what your organization will be offering, & perhaps the website link,  https://www.roamhomeroyaloak.com/
    • Tag the event page so we can know to share it as well!
  • Spread the word to your friends, family, co-workers, etc., so we can start with some word of mouth to maximize the residents that join us at ROMS on October 19th

Next, it is important to decide upon what your organization’s plans are for the week of October 19-26. Once your plans are solidified for ROam Home week:

  • Email the details of your event/promotion/activity of choice & any questions you may have to ROamHomeRoyalOak@gmail.com , so we can promote your organization’s activities on our ROam Home Facebook page
  • Once October 19th rolls around, the kickoff event will run from 12pm-3pm; feel free to come set-up your booth at 11am, & clean-up will end at 4pm
    • For your set-up materials, include any business information you like that helps to label your organization & information about your ROam Home initiative
      • Royal Oak Schools will generously provide tables & two chairs per booth, as well as a printout sign to help designate your space
    • As residents approach your booth feel free to discuss any organization/business information you choose, but be sure to include your ROam Home activities as the forefront
  • When you arrive at the kick-off event at 709 N. Washington Ave., Royal Oak, MI 48067 (Royal Oak Middle School), enter through the main entrance nearest to the parking lot

Once you are in the building, head towards the Gathering Place… There will be guides to help direct you.
